What’s on in June in Geneva and surroundings

GENEVA, Switzerland – Even if kids are still going to school until the end of June, we can certainly say: summer’s on! Here’s a selection of what’s on in Geneva and surroundings this June.

  • 13-14 June: Baz-Art, contemporary art & installations, music and more. Super bohème!
  • 16 June: Foo Fighters in St Gallen.
  • 21 June: Anna Cinzia Villani and The Macuran Orchestra, from Italy. Free Sunday performance at the MEG.
  • 21 June: Fete de la Musique, Geneva hosts the largest celebration in French-speaking Switzerland but not the only. More details later.

  •  12-14 June: Bol d’Or regatta. Hundreds of sailboats and catamarans take to Lake Geneva competing to take the prestigious title. One event not to be missed.
  • 13 June: Glisse en ville, Geneva. An urban, water toboggan in the St Jean / Charmilles neighborhood. From 10fr for 1hr of water fun to 40fr for the full day. Just bring your bathing suit.
  • 13-14 June: Water sports festival in Thonon (Lake Geneva). Enjoy the lake as you never did before.
  • 14 June: Basketball camp/training with the Geneva Lions.
