All About Geneva (the Genevist) is a non-profit site featuring resources, some local news, stories and musings from Geneva, Switzerland.
We help our readers discover one of the most expensive cities in the world “on a budget”. Occasionally, contributors highlight personal travel and —being based in Geneva— humanitarian affairs.
From 2009 to 2013, the blog was carried as New to Geneva? Me Too! and later as Geneva Living by the first English-language regional news website but now defunct GenevaLunch.com. From 2014 to 2020 it used the All About Geneva domain, but a ruthless enterpriser took the domain from under our feet while the website’s owner battled Covid-19.
All content and photos are original and / or duly attributed – please do not reproduce any photos or articles in their entirety without asking first.
AAG (the Genevist) is mostly written by Laila Rodriguez-Bloch, a Colombian-American award-winning multimedia freelance journalist, and communications/media-relations consultant once described as “hintologist”.
Laila’s Spanish-language work can be found on NoticiasdeGinebra.com, the only news and resources website in Spanish in the area, which she founded in 2010. Her work has been featured several times in the local Swiss media.
