GENEVA, Switzerland – Two women aged 21 and 22, were run over by a car while crossing the Quai Wilson near the Mont-Blanc Bridge on 4 January.

Police said one of the women, 22, a South African national, is in serious condition.

The other one, a German national, 21, was slightly wounded as a result of the incident.

The driver was identified as a Swiss man in his 40s.
