Switzerland — Geneva police are looking for information or witnesses to a deadly motorcycle accident occurred on Wednesday 2 January at around 17:40 on the Route des Jeunes in canton Geneva.

According to authorities, the victim, identified as a Swiss male born in 1999 (19 years of age), died on the scene after hitting the highway divider.

The road between l’Etoile and Quidort was closed to facilitate examination of the area.

Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the accident, the first fatal one of the year in Geneva, to call 022 427 64 50.
