Open call to young designers on the art of eyewear

eyewear-designGENEVA – Up to six young designers with a keen knack for art and eyewear might receive €3,000, as part of the so-called O-Six for Art grant. The money comes from the family-owned Italian Thema Optical company, which produces high-end eyewear.

The call is open to all designers  regardless of nationality, who can wow the jury with photographs, selfies, installation videos and other supporting material that scream wearable and original.

The competition, set to coincide with the Biennale di Venezia, will be held every two years.

Deadline originally set for 31 October has been extended until 6 November.
