GENEVA – This weekend takes place the traditional Course de côte de Verbois – a motorcycle race and exhibit in Russins, canton Geneva, now in its 60th edition. 

Sponsored by Norton Sport Club Geneva, the motorcycle meet includes a race and exhibition of motorcycle sidecars, scooters, and sport, dirt and touring motorbikes.

The meeting takes place at the barrage de Verbois or dam, located in the rural part of canton Geneva. In addition to the races and exhibit, there will be food and motorcycle gear vendors.

On Saturday, festivities end at midnight and on Sunday at 20:00 (see full schedule here).

Geneva Police is asking drivers to be on the lookout for large numbers of motorcycles in town this weekend. Police say they will set up road speed limit enforcement in the area.
