GENEVA, Switzerland – A couple has been arrested after a drug bust in the Plainpalais neighborhood of Geneva.
A 37-year-old Algerian man and a 20-year-old Portuguese woman were arrested after police found 657 grams of hash (cannabis resin) and 47 grams of cocaine in their apartment.
Authorities began investigating earlier this week after receiving a tip of “suspicious activities” in a building.
On Wednesday 12 October, police set surveillance and quickly confirmed illegal activities. The man and woman admitted to selling drugs.
In addition to the narcotics, police found CHF3,000 cash and Eur 1,000 in the apartment. (Photo, Geneva Police.)
