GENEVA – Switzerland’s tourism office and Swiss airlines scored big after the Lake Geneva region and the Swiss Alps were featured in the 50th Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition.
“For this Swiss shoot, the SI Swimsuit team flew from the east and west coasts [of the US] to the final destination of Geneva where they [models and team] were met, and organized to begin their journey with Switzerland Tourism representatives,” said Swiss airlines in a press release.
Canadian model Kate Bock and South African model Genevieve Morton posed in towns and beaches around Lake Geneva and visited the Matterhorn.
The Château de Chillon, the Swiss Riviera and the Lavaux terraces in Lake Geneva are but a few of the settings picked to showcase the ladies… or is it the other way around?)
The new issue is out on stands now; it also features Emily DiDonato posing by the Matterhorn.
