GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – Get ready for the upcoming Blues to Bop Festival and the Blues Nights fest in the beautiful canton of Ticino at the end of August.

Each year the Tessin, welcomes blues performers from all over the world: the Blues Nights fest takes place in Tesserete the third weekend of August while the Blues to Bop Festival takes place in Lugano the last weekend of the month.

Start your 2014 blues experience on 22 August at the Blues Nights; then, follow up your yearly blues dosis from 28-31 August at the Blues to Bop Festival.

This year, discover or revisit the music of the “Bayou-baked chicken-party” blues band Mudcat, the legendary Charlie Gracie, 78, and many others.
