GENEVA, SWITZERLAND – The popular Bains de Paquis is hosting a free, outdoor film festival featuring “southern hemisphere” movies.

From 19 to 23 August open your eyes and heart to movies from Algeria, Argentina, India, Morocco and Nicaragua. Most of the films are comedies.

All films begin at 21:00, rain or shine (if it rains the projection will be moved to a covered area). Free entry but donations are highly encouraged.

The series starts with La Yuma, a Nicaraguan film in Spanish with French subtitles.

On 20 August, Né Quelque Part, an Algerian-French film

21 August, The Lunchbox in Hindi with French subs

22 August, La Source des Femmes, in Arabic with French subs

23 August, Un Cuento Chino, a hilarious Argentinian film in Spanish with French subs
