Volunteers needed for food collection drive in Geneva

 GENEVA, Switzerland – The Geneva food bank is looking for volunteers to help collect food items at various supermarkets around the canton.

The non-perishable items will be donated to non-profits and shelters in the city. Volunteers are needed for 28 November.
Those interested in donating their time should call 022 736 8242 or register on the Samedi du Partage website.
This past summer 121 tons of food and personal hygiene items were collected and later distributed.
