The Boys in Green vs The Nati in Geneva

GENEVA, Switzerland – The Boys are back… this time in a Euro2020 qualifier where the Swiss squad is against the wall and which the Nati must win to qualify for the top European competition.

Switzerland manager Vladimir Petkovic speaking to the media in Geneva acknowledged that the Swiss must win the final two games of the campaign including the one on 15 October with Ireland.

The red and white Nati must win on home soil to keep their Euro 2020 hopes alive. However, Petkovic is banking on his team which has not lost a home game since 2014. Many fans believe that  after the slip with Denmark the Swiss are anything but ready.

If Ireland lose tonight, they can still qualify. Irish fans are already being heard around the Stade de Genève where La Nati is preparing without their star playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri.

The game can be watched through RTS and online starting at 20:15.
