GSTAAD, Switzerland – The religious wedding ceremony of Prince Andrea Casiraghi of Monaco and Tatiana Santo Domingo, granddaughter of one of the richest men in Latin America, took place in Switzerland on 1 February.
While the party may have been an ultra intimate affair, some of the protagonists have given a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes to millions of Internet users.
Let’s begin with the Italian edition of Vanity Fair which published photos (click here) showing the beautiful bride wearing Valentino, as well as some of the Monegasque royals: Prince Albert, Princess Caroline and Charlotte Casiraghi.

Valentino -who also attended the wedding in Gstaad- waited a day after the affair ended to confirm that his fashion house was responsible for the bride’s wedding gown. The dress, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccio “was custom designed for Tatiana Santo Domingo’s marriage to Andrea Casiraghi yesterday in Gstaad, Switzerland. The gown is made of ivory silk tulle and macramé lace with an ivory double cashmere cape,” said the designer on Instagram.

The Daily Mail (see photos) showed Aussie model Jessica Hart and Stavros Niarchos III showcasing the couple arriving at the wedding and walking around Gstaad the day after.
Tatiana Santo Domingo’s Instagram account of her boho-chic clothing business Muzungu Sisters, showcased a Colombian hand-made Arhuaco bag and a pair of Moon Boots in Gstaad.

And either Tatiana or her business partner fell for a Swiss favorite: Meringues and cream.

Argentine socialite and fashion icon, Concepción Blaquier also attended the wedding.

The Maison Missoni heiress, Margherita, one of Tatiana Santo Domingo’s closest friends, posted a selfie getting ready for the wedding in Gstaad.

Lauren Santo Domingo – the bride’s aunt-in-law, Vogue contributor and owner of Moda Operandi – posted an after-ski photo.

Another jet-setter, Bianca Brandolini, showed off Gstaad’s after-ski style on Instagram.

Spanish actress Macarena Gómez who looked splendid in red the night of the wedding, posted what Gstaad looked like before the big party.

Dear Maria,
Thank you so much for submitting a correction. Indeed, we had a photo of Tatiana’s cousin which was embedded to our post. When it was removed by its owner, it also “disappeared” from our post. And indeed, the young woman in the photo is Concepción Blaquier, Argentinian jet-setter. We will correct the information and thank you again for your keen eye!
Best regards,
Laila
